This course will give the basics of running Drupal websites, covering setup, installation, configuration, adding modules, creating and controlling custom content, and maintaining Drupal installations.
This session will go over how to build and architecture your new website with Drupal. We will start out by installing Drupal to a local web server, demonstrate where and how to install modules and themes; while touching on best practices in setting up your sites. Showing how to use common modules we will use core modules (like Taxonomy) with the CCK module to create custom content that is the foundation of our dynamic website. This course helps new Drupal adopters understand the basics of structuring their new site for easy publishing, maintainability, usability.
