Branden is the co-author of "Object-Oriented Programming with ActionScript" as well as "Flash Enabled" and numerous other Flash programming books. He is an independent consultant for developing an deploying web-based technologies. He also teaches Flash at numerous educational facilities, and speaks at many industry conferences including Macromedia DevCon and SIGGRAPH 2002. He is also on the Web Graphics committee for SIGGRAPH 2003. When he's not working Branden enjoys playing with technology. Whether it's programming on his trusty Mac powerbook or building his own cocktail-style arcade cabinet, he's not often found too far from a few transistors. Branden lives just outside of Washington D.C. with his wife Patti and a growing family of cats.
