Born and raised in the arcades and libraries of Ottawa, Chris de Castro came to Toronto to learn animation at Sheridan College. Finding a love of compositing with the combination of hand animation, he has been working in the city since 2003. From stop motion to CGI, kids television to IMAX 3D and a pile of commercials, music videos and motion graphics inbetween Chris is a swiss army knife of skills and talent currently residing at bullseye.tv and 1188 as a creative lead/compositor/animator/swiss army knife. With a recent film accepted in Annecy, Spirit Fest, CFC Short Film Fest and an audience choice award at the Brooklyn International Film Fest he is now branching out into interactive art installation and teaching. In the between time you could find him telling a good story or in the middle of a game of Street Fighter.
