Course Description

Subversion, or SVN, is the de-facto standard for version control of source assets (code and other files). SVN is free, powerful, open source and there are many tools to work with SVN available for all common operating systems. This course explains how to use the Tortoise SVN client for PC.

Many already use SVN, but only know how to commit and update -- a fraction of SVN's overall power and functionality. And other individuals and teams who do not use proper version control for their development, leading to the potential for costly and draining mistakes, such as overwriting files and working from outdated versions.

Who is this course for?
This course is designed for any and all individuals who must work with SVN for version control and/or team-based collaboration. This course is aimed at those who already know how to work with SVN, but want to learn more details (and, perhaps, become familiar working with with the command line, Subclipse, Cornerstone or Tortoise) -- as well as those individuals who are new to SVN and need to get up to speed quickly.
