This course is a two day seminar designed to take Flash professionals into
the world of 3D modeling and texturing. With no expectation of prior 3D
experience, students will begin with an exposure to the basic concepts of 3D
space, the 3D Max user interface and functionalities as well as the basic
pipeline of 3D modeling production. Students will then learn the tools of
poly modeling as they relate to real-time graphics along with the techniques
and principals of efficient mesh usage. Student will also learn how to
unwrap and texture 3D objects and prepare them for export into programs such
as Papervision. This course is well suited for Flash professionals, game
designers or those who are interested in learning the work flow of a 3D
platform and what is involved in creating 3D real-time models for the
Internet.

Please note: Each attendee will need **Windows, Photoshop CS installed a 3D Studio Max evaluation copy (30 day temp licence) available from www.autodesk.com.

**Mac users will also need Windows installed.

Who this course is for:

Flash Developers and/or those working with Motion Graphics.

Experience Level: Students should be competent with basic PC computer operation. Students do not need any prior 3D or flash training, although basic skills are welcome. Students should have, at minimum, basic competency with Photoshop.
